LAST TRAIN TO NIBROC, a play by Arlene Hutton and directed by Casey Eubank,is being produced by Just in Time Theatre Productions opening April 22nd. It's is the funny, yet touching story of May, a young shy woman with aspirations to become a missionary and Raleigh, a young discharged soldier who desires to become a writer. In December 1940, they both find themselves traveling on a cross-country train from California carrying the coffins of, as Raleigh describes, "two of the greatest authors of the century," Nathanael West and F. Scott Fitzgerald. An unlikely friendship develops between the two when they meet and are are forced to share a seat on the train. As May (Miranda Windholz) and Raleigh (Quinn Warren) continue to cross paths over the years, a bond grows between them unexpectedly as they both search for happiness separately and together admist World War II.

The Associated Press called LAST TRAIN TO NIBROC "...a gently charming little play, reminiscent of Thornton Wilder in its look at rustic Americans who are to be treasured for their simplicity and directness..."
