Flo Yoga is returning to the Royal Albert Hall to teach sessions to live music in the Elgar Room!
Flo has been teaching yoga extensively over 15 years in various settings to mixed ability practitioners. She has a passion for making physical and spiritual yoga accessible to any level of experience or life stage. Initially trained in Vinyasa Flow, Flo enjoys incorporating elements of other disciplines (pilates, mobility exercises, visual and vestibular drills) as she finds that varying the content of classes helps to motivate students as well as keeping the spark of teaching.
Please note:
Attendees are expected to bring their own yoga mats.
Attendees are entitled to 10% off in Verdi Italian Kitchen and the Café bar with their tickets.
On Sunday 31 March, Flo will be joined by harpist Jimena Eisele Farag. Born and raised by musicians, Jimena started playing the harp at 5 years old with Zoraida Ávila. She is currently studying at the Royal College of Music with renowned harpist Ieuan Jones. She has developed an everlasting passion for performance, playing recitals, appearing on TV, and debuting as a soloist at the prestigious Auditorio Nacional de Madrid in 2018. She has played for Gabriella Dal’Ollio, Milda Agazarian, Irina Zingg, and Aneleen Lenaerts, and has studied with Isabelle Perrin and Marcella Carboni (jazz harp).
On Sunday 5 May, Flo will be joined by classical guitarist Mark Dangerfield. Having played the guitar since the age of eight and taking part in his local guitar ensemble, Mark began to show musical promise in secondary school, remaking pop songs and composing music to share with friends. In 2021, Mark was selected for further study of the guitar with Professors Carlos Bonell and Christopher Stell at the Royal College of Music, and has since pursued studies in composition, now taking a Joint Principal study of Composition and Classical Guitar.
