People in Cages introduces us to a giggle of a killer, a scream of a happy couple, and adorable kids in a deplorable cult. Presiding over all three shows is the keeper, and the less said about him, the better. It promises to be an intriguing and entertaining evening behind bars.
People in Cages, by David Henry Wilson, is a trilogy of dark comedies; the last of which is a world premiere. David’s plays have been produced at countless theatres in the UK and abroad, and range from comedies such as Gas and Candles (“Comedy explodes from the smallest incident.” The Guardian) to Shakespeare-based tragedy, such as Lear’s Fool (“A gorgeous, lyrical and heartbreaking variation on the themes of Shakespeare’s play.” The Scotsman)
