London-based piano player David Kofi and his band perform live in the Elgar Room. Seamlessly blending his gospel roots with contemporary jazz mastery, his musical journey is marked by impactful EPs, including Kokoro and Kokoro II, inspired by the Japanese concept of heart, soul, and mind. Collaborating with James Mollison of Ezra Collective, David continues to redefine musical boundaries. A pivotal moment in his career was performing to a sold-out audience at his last Elgar Room show last year, which led to the release of his EP Live at Late Night Jazz Royal Albert Hall. His music has gained airplay on prominent radio stations such as Times Radio, Soho Radio, and Jazz FM. David's influence in the music world also earned him a feature in the summer 2023 edition of the Musicians' Union magazine. David will be performing songs from his upcoming EP, set for release in autumn 2024.
