LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year 2026 - The Grand Final at Comedy Store London

Help crown the next rising star of lGBTQ+ Comedy!

The Grand Final of Comedy Bloomers' LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year 2026 at London's legendary Comedy Store brings together seven rising stars of queer comedy, who will compete live on stage for the highly coveted prize. Having faced off against over 140 comedians from across the UK, the finalists will now battle it out for the title of LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year 2026 and a £1,000 cash prize. Expect fresh perspectives, big laughs and everything from drag and dating to the everyday absurdities of queer life. Vote for your favourite acts alongside judges Chloe Petts, Tia Kofi, Josh Jones and James Barr, who will also provide feedback on the acts on the night. Hosted by Ciara O’Connor, the Grand Final will also feature a special headline performance from last year’s winner Sydney May. Now in its fifth year, the competition is the UK’s only dedicated showcase of its kind, giving emerging LGBTQ+ comedians a chance to develop their material, find audiences and get their comedy in front of the wider industry.
