#FATKARY: The Corrido of a Tragic Ex-fat Woman at The Playground Theatre

Award winning solo show that explores what it’s like to be a morbidly obese woman in the northeastern border between Mexico and the US. The piece tells the story of the actress, who will do everything necessary to step onto the scale without feeling remorse. Humor, food and interactive episodes take us to the playful selection of tragedies. Folk music, dance, cabaret and rap are intertwined with the violence that is experienced both on the border and in our body.
