Pianist Matty Oxtoby plays beloved repertoire by Debussy, Rachmaninov, Kabalevsky and Chopin, as well as an original, self-composed piece of music.

In partnership with the Royal College of Music London. Please note that Classical Coffee Mornings often sell out and tickets are rarely available to purchase on the day.
Matty Oxtoby has attended the Royal College of Music Junior Department for the last six years, where he studies piano, cello, composition and conducting. He is currently taught piano by Andrew Zolinsky having previously studied with the late Niel Immelman for many years.
He enjoys all types of piano performance be it solo work, as part of a chamber group, playing with his school swing band or accompanying others. Matty played cello with the National Youth Orchestra during 2023, was a winner of the BBC Young Composer competition in 2020, and is currently having fun arranging music for and conducting his school junior string orchestra.
He is hoping to have a career in music, and plans to continue his musical studies after school at either a conservatoire or university.
