After traveling from town to town in the desert, Eréndira is wed to a young man who loves her deeply. Together they plot an escape. In his innovative adaptation of this novel by Nobel Prize winner García Márquez, Triana turns a tragic tale into black comedy, revealing possibilities never imagined in the original story.
