Please join Maestro Luke Frazier and the American Pops Orchestra for their inaugural main stage concert, a tribute to the Gershwins at the George Washington University’s Lisner Auditorium on Friday, October 16 at 8:00 PM. Stairway to Paradise: A Gershwin Spectacular features the full, 34-piece American Pops Orchestra with special guests Tony® Award winning actress Christine Ebersole, Broadway’s Paige Faure (Cinderella), Great American Songbook Ambassador Nick Ziobro, and choreography by Broadway’s Jason Sparks performed by Johnny Stellard (Evita-Broadway) and Julia Freyer (A Chorus Line-National Tour), with the National Broadway Chorus.
Stairway to Paradise: A Gershwin Spectacular will highlight the familiar and treasured music of Ira and George Gershwin in a song-and-dance extravaganza starring Tony Award Winner Christine Ebersole. This elegant evening of entertainment will include favorites like I Got Rhythm, Someone to Watch Over Me, Strike Up the Band, Love is Here to Stay, and Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off.
