Riverside Center for the Performing Arts proudly presents the Pulitzer Prize-winning and Tony Award winning musical Next to Normal, running July 2 through August 3, 2025. This bold, emotionally charged rock musical takes center stage in a powerful production that’s as heart-wrenching as it is unmissable. With a thrilling contemporary score by Tom Kitt and a fearless book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey, this show has captivated audiences of all ages for over a decade. Whether you grew up on classic Broadway, 90s alternative rock, or today’s musical storytelling, Next to Normal speaks across generations with its timely themes, unforgettable music, and deeply personal storytelling. This powerful and passionate cast is led by Adrianne Hick. Adrianne returns to our Riverside stage to star as Diana Goodman. Adrianne captivated our hearts in Bright Star, Ragtime, and most recently in Bridges of Madison County alongside her husband Andrew Foote.
