Groovy Guy goes for the Juggler! at Monument Arts & Cultural Center

Get ready for an evening of magic and hilarity as award-winning juggler Guy Collins, AKA the Groovy Guy, puts on a show for the whole family at the Monument Arts & Cultural Center, 7 p.m. March 1.

Guy is known for juggling unusual and even dangerous objects, often at the same time as balancing on a rope or riding a large unicycle. Magician Penn Jillette was so impressed by Guy’s street show in Boston that he awarded him $10,000 and named him winner of the Travel Channel's talent show “Street Cred.”

He began his career in the 1980s as a teen, juggling on the streets of Paris. Though born in the United States, he grew up in the U.K., where he did stints in circus school and performed his juggling act at Covent Garden market as well as theme parks in England and Europe.

Guy now resides in Bennington, from whence he travels the globe performing at fairs, festivals, and on cruise ships.
