Chor Leoni presents its seasonal celebration of light, hope, and connection with Christmas with Chor Leoni on December 16, 17 & 19 at 8pm, December 17 & 19 at 5pm, and December 17 at 2pm at St. Andrew’s-Wesley United (1022 Nelson St). Considered one of Vancouver’s signature holiday events, the 65-voice choir will share a diverse mix of sacred music, popular holiday classics, and hope-filled winter harmonies. The joyous celebration will conclude with the Chor Leoni’s gorgeous candlelit encore of Silent Night, where audiences are invited to lift their voices in wondrous awe of the season. Chor Leoni has announced their striking 2022/23 season, beginning with their 31st Remembrance Day Concerts in November 2022. Vancouver audiences will be treated to six concert offerings that highlight the talent, passion, and heart of the 67-voice choir. This holiday season, JUNO-nominated men’s choir Chor Leoni will return to live performances with CHRISTMAS WITH CHOR LEONI on December 17th, 18th, and 20th. At the newly restored St. Andrew’s- Wesley United Church in Vancouver, Chor Leoni will be joined by the talented violinist/fiddler Cameron Wilson.

Due to the latest provincial health order released yesterday, November 19, 2020, Chor Leoni Men's Choir regrets to announce the cancellation of the world premiere of Translucence: An Immersive Light and Sound Experience, originally scheduled to run December 4 to 23, 2020 at the Sheraton Wall Centre Grand Ballroom.
Early Music Vancouver (EMV) celebrates 50 years of historically informed performance with the announcement of the 2019 Vancouver Bach Festival and 2019/20 Main Season. Dedicated to sharing period music using the instruments and performance traditions for which it was originally composed, EMV marks the anniversary with a season of renowned masterworks and illustrious guest artists. The expansive programming includes such diverse works as Benjamin Bagby's one-man musical telling of Beowulf; masterworks for choir and orchestra by Bach, Handel, and Purcell; early romantic creations by Chopin, Faure, and Schubert; 20th century solo piano pieces by Shostakovich; and world premieres challenging contemporary composers to write for Baroque and period instruments.
