Vasthy & Friends: Sing, Dance, Play! is a joyful, interactive, Broadway-quality family show for ages 2–7 where kids don’t just watch — they join in. Led by Broadway performer and choreographer Vasthy Mompoint (Broadway: Mary Poppins, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Prom; TV: Nickelodeon’s Baby Shark’s Big Show! and Disney’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), this high-energy celebration blends singing, dancing, storytelling, and big-hearted connection.
With coloring pages, buttons, crafts, and plenty of movement, mini friends learn dances, sing along, and “travel” the world together through music and culture — building social awareness, emotional fluency, and a deep sense of love, belonging, and inclusion. Think: Mr. Rogers meets Broadway… with a dance party at the end.

Vasthy Mompoint is a Broadway performer, choreographer, and the creator of Vasthy & Friends, an interactive, multicultural children’s show that blends music, movement, and social-emotional learning. Her Broadway credits include Mary Poppins, SpongeBob SquarePants, and The Prom, and she has appeared on Disney’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and voiced Briny the Whale on Nickelodeon’s Baby Shark’s Big Show. Vasthy’s work centers joy, belonging, and representation—helping every child feel like they’re part of the story.
Elizabeth Daniels Nicholson
Costume Designer
Elizabeth Daniels Nicholson is an actor, writer, singer, dancer, and puppeteer who has performed across the country and the globe in Off-Broadway, regional, and touring productions of many genres. She is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, CAP21 program.
Musical Director
Tony Gonzalez is a Los Angeles-based composer, musical director, and performer originally from Texas. He teaches musical improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) and serves as a musical director for teams like Sweet Sweet Fantasy Musical and shows such as Sing Out, Louise!
Set Designer
Natalie Rose Mabry (they/she) is a trans-queer, neurodivergent scenographer, designer, educator and activist whose work explores how theatrical design can build more equitable, imaginative, and inclusive spaces.
Their practice merges scenic and video design with radical inclusion; designing not just bigger tables, but better ones:
accessible, collaborative, and reflective of the communities they serve.
