Ventnor Fringe Will Present 130+ Shows Across Isle of Wight's Largest Arts Festival

Transforming the Isle of Wight's southernmost town from 17th-26th July 2026, the festival has grown into an unmissable event famous for its pop up venues which among big tops and spiegeltents also includes a 1930's Parisian 'Book Bus' an 11th century chapel and even local's front rooms.
Heading to Ventnor for special previews ahead of Edinburgh runs is Matriarch of Twisted Pop Cabaret, Frisky's Remix Roulette, globally-acclaimed comedy blockbuster Police Cops, vaudevillian duo Norvil & Josephine in Rabbits Out Of The Hat and hilarious and anarchic The Mr Thing Show along with comedians like Ahir Shah, Felicity Ward, Sam Nicoresti, Joe Kent Walters aka Frankie Monroe, Tom Ballard, Lara Ricote, Tom Ward, Lil Wenker, Li Jin Hao, Lou Wall and Thor Stenhaug.
Podcasts including chartopping The Guilty Feminist and Drunk Women Solving Crime will be hosting live shows, while impressionist Jess Robinson will be bringing her unique take on Elton John's greatest hits. Fishing 4 Chips follow up on their smash hit 'It's Gunna Blow' swapping Pompeii for Troy in Burning Down the Horse. Award winning duo A&E Comedy's make their Ventnor Fringe debut with Do All The Things which promises a joyous middle finger to despair and disconnection.
Elsewhere festival favourites Impromptu Shakespeare will be inventing new plays by the Bard every night, while David Hoskin brings mime, clown and slapstick in A Haunted House. A new 'Club Lunar' offers late night revelry on the clifftops into the night, while more adventurous audiences should seek out the festival's famous Secret Shows which take place in even the most usual spaces.
Set in the heart of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Ventnor Fringe offers a unique setting for a festival, easily accessible with over 150 daily sailings from Southampton, Portsmouth or Lymington.
