All MY SONS by Arthur Miller Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester

It is 1947. Joe and Kate Keller, an all-American couple, have the ghosts of World War II living in their own backyard.

Joe is a successful, self-made businessman, a loving family man and a pillar of the community. He is a partner in a machine shop building fighter plane parts. One thing overshadows Joe and Kate's happiness - their son is missing in action, presumed dead by all but his mother...

ALL MY SONS features two of the country's most distinguished actors in the lead roles: Don Warrington MBE (BBC's DEATH IN PARADISE) and Doña Croll (best known as Vera Corrigan in DOCTORS).

Arthur Miller's masterpiece is a searing investigation of honesty, guilt and the corrupting power of greed. It will be directed by Michael Buffong, whose previous credits at the Royal Exchange Theatre includes the multi award-winning A RAISIN IN THE SUN and PRIVATE LIVES, as well as GOD's PROPERTY for Talawa Theatre Company at Soho Theatre.

Talawa Theatre Company in association with The National Theatre present
MOON ON A RAINBOW SHAWL by Errol John UK Tour

Artistic director Michael Buffong and TalawaTheatre Company revive the acclaimed 2012 National Theatre production of Errol John's MOON ON A RAINBOW SHAWL for a tour of the UK in 2014. Launching at The New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich on 3February 2014, the production will visit Leeds, Birmingham, Malvern, Oxford, Cambridge, Richmond, Bath and Nottingham.
For the teeming populace of Old Mack's cacophonous yard in Port of Spain, Trinidad, it's a Cheek by Jowl existence lived out on a sweltering public stage. Snatches ofcalypso compete with hymn tunes, drums and street cries as neighbours drink, brawl, make love, look out for each other and crave a better life. But Ephraim is no dreamer and nothing, not even the seductive Rosa, is going to stop him escaping his dead-end job for a fresh start in England.

Set as returning troops from the Second World War fill the town with their raucous celebrations, Errol John's MOON ON A RAINBOW SHAWL depicts a vibrant, cosmopolitan world that is as harsh as it is filled with colour and warmth.

Tour dates and venue information to be announced laterthis year
