McFly's Harry Judd zal schitteren in de laatste twee shows van Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL in Lowry, Salford op zaterdag 19 september 2026, voordat de voorstelling wordt overgebracht naar het Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre in Londen van 12 oktober 2026 tot 3 januari 2027.
Harry neemt de rol over van Jason Donovan, die momenteel Coach Bolton speelt en deze rol zal voortzetten tijdens alle voorstellingen in het Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.
In beide locaties schitteren Disney-icoon Kaycee Stroh als Ms Darbus, Tobias Turley als Troy Bolton, Leonor Correia als Gabriella Montez, Caitlin Tipping als Sharpay Evans en Luke Bayer als Ryan Evans, samen met Char Burnett (Frozen; The Book of Mormon, West End) als Taylor McKessie, Jordan Benjamin (Hamilton; The Little Big Things, West End) als Chad Danforth, Simeon Beckett (Back to the Future, West End; Hamilton, UK & Ireland tour) als Zeke Baylor, Olivia O'Connor (Why Am I So Single?, West End) als Martha Cox, Yna Tresvalles (Ballad Lines, Southwark Playhouse Elephant; Six, UK & International tour) als Kelsi Nielson en Curtis Patrick (Thespians, UK tour; Young Frankenstein, Hope Mill Theatre/Liverpool Playhouse) als Jack Scott.

Ter viering van de 20e verjaardag van de iconische film heeft HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL een script van David Simpatico, met muziek aangepast, gearrangeerd en geproduceerd door Bryan Louiselle. De productie wordt mede geregisseerd door Hope Mill-oprichters Joseph Houston en William Whelton. De musical bevat klassieke nummers zoals: Breaking Free, We're All In This Together, Get'cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo en nog veel meer.
Gebaseerd op de populaire Disney Channel Original-film, die een generatie inspireerde, ging HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL in 2006 in wereldpremière bij Stagedoor Manor Summer Theatre Camp. Daarna werd het voor het eerst professioneel opgevoerd in The Theatre of Stars in Atlanta, Georgia, voordat Disney Theatrical Group in 2007 een nationale tour organiseerde. De musical heeft wereldwijd veel succes geboekt in regionale theaters en beleefde zijn Londense première in het Hammersmith Apollo Theatre in januari 2008.
