CATS al Regent's Park Open Air Theatre prolungato fino a settembre

Il Regent's Park Open Air Theatre ha annunciato una proroga di una settimana per la nuovissima produzione di CATS, con musiche di Andrew Lloyd Webber, basato su Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats di T.S. Eliot, diretto e coreografato da Drew McOnie. CATS ha ottenuto un enorme successo tra il pubblico ed è attualmente il musical più venduto nella storia di 94 anni del Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. La produzione debutta giovedì 6 agosto, con anteprime da sabato 25 luglio, e ora proseguirà fino a sabato 19 settembre 2026 al Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.

Drew McOnie ha dichiarato: “Sono entusiasta che la nostra nuova produzione di CATS abbia stimolato l'immaginazione degli spettatori. È meraviglioso poter prolungare la rappresentazione al Regent's Park, offrendo più opportunità di vivere CATS nel nostro magico teatro all'aperto.”

Con una colonna sonora leggendaria che include Old Deuteronomy, Macavity: The Mystery Cat, The Jellicle Ball e il successo in cima alle classifiche Memory, questa nuova produzione di CATS, diretta e coreografata dal Direttore Artistico del Regent's Park Open Air Theatre Drew McOnie (Brigadoon, Jesus Christ Superstar), sarà sicuramente uno degli eventi teatrali del 2026.
