Reborn is a gripping musical that follows an aspiring actress who lands her dream role in a cult horror film, only to find herself facing an unsettling double that begins to take over her life. Written by Nina Maria, with music by both Nina Maria and Mike Kondakow, the story delves into themes of identity and self-preservation as she navigates the chaos of filming. Amidst the turmoil, she forms a quiet bond with a co-star, leading her to confront the true cost of fame and the reality of her existence. This captivating production is part of the inaugural lineup from the Alliance for Canadian Musicals at Theatre Passe Muraille during the Toronto Fringe Festival.
