Many Happy Returns is a group-based interactive immersive performance set on New Year's Eve, December 31, 1924, combining elements of an escape room, murder mystery, heist, role-play, Queer love story, and 1920s speakeasy. Audiences collaborate to retrieve 10 artifacts before their time travel abilities wear off, with every show unfolding differently based on audience choices. Each ticket includes a 30-minute cocktail reception, a 60-minute performance, and post-show mingling. The show is a winner of the No Proscenium Audience Award (Immie) for Outstanding Immersive Work in 2025, produced by Bears In The City / IntrigueX under Artistic Director Julie Cohn.
