Synopsis
"Crazy for You" is a heartwarming tale of love, laughter, and the magic of music set in the 1930s. The story follows Bobby Child, a New York banker with a yearning for the stage, who is sent to Deadrock, Nevada, to foreclose on a rundown theatre. There, he falls for Polly Baker, the spirited daughter of the theatre's owner. In a whimsical turn of events, Bobby puts on a show to save the theatre and win Polly's heart. Disguising himself as a Hungarian impresario, Bobby brings together the town's folk and the Follies girls to produce a spectacular show. Filled with Gershwin's unforgettable tunes like "I Got Rhythm" and "Embraceable You", "Crazy for You" dazzles with its witty humour, vibrant characters, and the timeless beauty of the Gershwin brothers' music, making it an enduring classic in the world of musical theatre.
