BRAVA: A Cabaret of Devotions is a solo cabaret performance written and performed by professional opera singer Yanik Gosselin, presented as part of the 2026 Toronto Fringe Festival. The show blends personal storytelling with songs made famous by legendary divas, drawing on Gosselin's memories of artists such as Liza Minnelli, Bette Midler, and Céline Dion, as well as two beloved aunts who introduced him to the movie Grease. Music direction and piano are by two-time Dora Mavor Moore Award nominee Benjamin Kersey, with lighting design by Mabel Wonnacott. The piece explores the memory of formidable women, both famous and unsung, who inspired Gosselin to sing and dream, and serves as a tribute to resilience and music's ability to hold memories.
