Maltz Jupiter Theater Recruiting Volunteers
Great theater begins with you! That's right; the Maltz Jupiter Theatre is now casting for various roles to help the Theatre shine!
There is magic happening all around the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, and its staff needs your skills and enthusiasm. This season, join the Theatre's cast of more than 400 volunteers and become a part of the fabric of the award-winning professional theatre. Volunteers are needed for every department in the Theatre, with jobs based on talents, skills and interests.
"There's a role for everyone at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, and we'd like to invite local residents of all ages to join us," said Andrew Kato, the Theatre's producing artistic director. "With the Theatre's new expansion and renovation nearly complete, we've created a number of fun ways to get involved at the Theatre. Tell your friends that we need them, too!"
Volunteers currently serve as bartenders, ushers, wardrobe specialists, box office personnel, office administrators and more, with positions available daytime, evenings and/or weekends.
Here's a sneak peek at a few of the exciting departments up for volunteer consideration:
· Production (work backstage, assist with artist relations)
· Company management (facility and operations)
· Marketing (special events and festivals, subscription campaign and more!)
· Box office (customer service)
· Development (fundraising and events)
"Our not-for-profit theatre is the place to meet new people, experience wonderful entertainment and learn about the art of theatre," Kato said. "We are made up of staff, a board of directors, visiting artists, Conservatory students and volunteers. Together, we are 'family.'"
Step into the world of theater and help the Maltz Jupiter Theatre put on a show!
