Life Amplified Celebrates Tenth Variety Showcase Tonight
The philanthropic side of the woman-owned marketing company, The WriteOne Creative Services, Life Amplified, a tri-annual, all-ages spoken word and variety showcase for small, grassroots organizations, celebrates its fourth year tonight, March 19, 2016.
Life Amplified was recently recognized as BayNew 9's Every Day Hero in February 2016 and Fox TV's Hometown Hero in May 2014.
A regular photographer for Life Amplified, James Geiger reached out to producer Deborah Kelley in late 2015 for a showcase to fundraise for a Temple Terrace landmark since 1996.
Offsite from its home venue, Carrollwood Players Theatre, Life Amplified CAFFEINATED is going to the source to help this small woman-owned business celebrate 20 years in the community.
Life Amplified CAFFEINATED features 9 acts coming together to fundraise for Sacred Grounds Coffee House, 4819 E Busch Blvd., a home where talented artists share new, original music. This local coffee house that has been committed in providing a safe, friendly, positive community environment for all who have an open mind and are accepting of all ways of life since its inception.
Emceed by WMNF's Musicians Wanted host Ryan Oreskovich, Life Amplified CAFFEINATED features the talents of Becca Childs, Carlos Hernandez, Introvert, Beau Bostic, The Cruz Brothers, Dennis Amadeus, KathySings4Us, Andrea Assaf, and Sarah Morey.
Patrons can enjoy "Tampa's Best Coffee," as described by owner Karen Lowman and great performances while helping a worthy cause.
"I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support we receive for Life Amplified," said Kelley. "I am completely humbled by the amount of people who want to be part of these special events.
"I hate when I hear someone making the excuse, but I'm just one person, what can I do. It only takes one person to make a difference and make an impact. I've discovered during this process, in the time it takes to make an excuse, you could be starting a movement."
Life Amplified CAFFEINATED is on Saturday, March 19, 8pm at Sacred Grounds Coffee House, 4819 E.
