Jobsite Theatre Extends NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD at TBPAC, Now Plays Thru 11/15

By:

Jobsite Theater has announced that their Night of the Living Dead, which opened on October 21, has been extended through November 15. The production plays Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Shimberg Playhouse at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center.

Lori Allen Ohm's Night of the Living Dead is based on the screenplay by George Romero. The production will be directed by Chris Holcom. In Night of the Living Dead, fallout from a satellite probe shot to Venus returns to Earth carrying a mysterious radiation that transforms the unburied dead into flesh-eating zombies. Seven people trapped in an isolated farmhouse, held hostage by the
ravenous ghouls, begin to turn on each other as the dead encroach. This blend of thrilling horror laced
with touches of black humor envelops the audience in the action and unfolds into a shocking theatrical ending.

The production contains adult language, situations and subject matter. Tickets are $24.50 and can be purchased by calling 813.229.STAR (7827) or 800.955.1045 outside Tampa Bay, in person at the TBPAC Ticket Office or online at www.tbpac.org.he Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center opened its doors in July, 1987, and in the last 20 years has welcomed 10 million guests!
