Comedian Jim Jeffries to Perform at Side Splitters, 6/2 -6/5

Jim Jeffries will appear this weekend  June 2 - 5 at Side Splitters Comedy Club. Australian born Jim Jefferies is a headline performer in countries such as America, Canada, Asia, South Africa, Europe and the UK. Regarded as one of the fastest rising stars in the comedy world, his shockingly charming style has made him one of the most sought after comics on the world stage. Jim gets away with jokes that most comedians wouldn't touch due to his ability to both charm and offend the crowd with equal measures.

Jim returned to the Edinburgh Festival last summer, where he performed a month long, sold-out run of his critically acclaimed, smash-hit new solo show Hammered. As one of the most successful acts at Edinburgh several years running, Jim performed for over 5,000 people. Jim was the talk of the Montreal "Just for Laughs" Comedy Festival in 2007, wowing audiences with his performances in the Nasty Show, and most notably, his one-hour solo show. Jim first appeared at the "Just for Laughs" Festival in 2005, where he performed in the highly acclaimed "Nasty Show," and garnered one of the biggest press articles at the festival. Most notably, is Jim's one-hour HBO Special, "I Swear to God," which is now airing.

In America Jim has also been seen on HBO's "Down and Dirty with Jim Norton." In England, he has appeared on such shows as ITV2's "Comedy Cuts" and "If.Com Eddies," as well as on BBC1's "Heaven & Earth," and BBC2's "Never Mind the Buzzcocks." Jim was also on Channel 4's "The History of Offensive Humor," as well as "The World Stands Up" and "Edinburgh and Beyond" for the Paramount Comedy Channel.

Gary Gulman is a Boston native who always knew he wanted to be a comedian. Gulman's humor is unique, clever and highly entertaining. He was seen on Dane Cook's 'Tourgasm' on HBO and recently shot the pilot 'Dinner with Todd Glass' with Todd Glass and Sarah Silverman.

At the young age of 6, Gulman always loved late night television and dreamed of being a guest one day. That dream came true and he has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Craig Kilborn, Last Call with Carson Daly, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Comedy Central (1 hr Special 'Gary Gulman: Boyish Man'), Showtime Presents Gary Gulman, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, Jimmy Kimmel Live, HBO's 'Dane Cook's Tourgasm,' Last Comic Standing Seasons 2 and 3 (Runner UP), and was a guest star on Last Comic Standing Season 4.

Gulman also performed at the NASCAR Year End Banquet (3 times), New York Comedy Festival (performed at Madison Square Garden) , HBO's Las Vegas Comedy Festival, Just for Laughs Montreal International Comedy Festival and Just For Laughs Gala in Canada. He was the host of New England Sports Network's Comedy All Stars and New England Emmy Awards and appeared on National Lampoon's Rising Stars DVD.
