BROADWAY! THE BIG BAND YEARS Set for Van Wezel, 4/4

Celebrating the American songbook of the 1930s-1950s, BROADWAY! The Big Band Years swings into Sarasota for its premiere at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Monday, April 4th at 8:00pm.

Broadway generated a staggering number of hit songs during the Big Band Era, including "The Lady is a Tramp," "My Funny Valentine," "Luck Be a Lady," "I Got Rhythm" and "I Get a Kick Out of You." BROADWAY! The Big Band Years features these standards and many more from hit shows like Gypsy, 42nd Street, Damn Yankees, Guy and Dolls, and West Side Story. Join Musical Director and Conductor Keith Levenson and The Curtain Up Orchestra as they showcase Broadway's best!
