ARTS46/4 Presents TRUST ME: An Original Immersive Theatre Experience Starring Hawk & Wayne On Friday, July 20th, at 7pm, ARTS46/4 presents Trust Me, an original immersive theatre experience starring improv duo Hawk & Wayne as Senatorial candidates hosting a public debate. Before the public hears what the would-be Senators want them to hear, they see things the politicians don't want them to see. The event follows the candidates through vignettes curated for public consumption as well as moments of voyeurism, and culminates in the debate and the audience voting. Trust Me utilizes the campus grounds for this site-specific original work and much of the content will be improvised.

First Unity's dedicated arts branch, ARTS46/4 - named for its location on 46th Avenue and 4th Street North in St. Petersburg - launched with a five month arts initiative. From April through August, each month represented a different arts discipline, bridging the arts community with the spiritual community. April featured Literature, May featured Dance, and June featured Visual Art. In the remaining two months of the initiative, July is the month for Theatre, and, in addition to the presentation of Trust Me, each Sunday, a different local performer will appear as a special guest in the services. Finally, August celebrates Music, with an unconventional chamber music concert that incorporates elements of dining and conversation on August 24th featuring the Ibis Quartet. First Unity is well-equipped to serve as an Arts venue, with a 5,400 square-foot Sanctuary space with chairs that allow for flexible seating configurations, recently upgraded theatrical sound and lighting, projection capabilities, hardwood platform and separate music stage, visual art gallery, reception areas, and ample free parking.
