Claudia is jobless and adrift, ignoring emails from Centrelink and reeling from a fight with her Mum, when a job opportunity falls into her lap — working for Meng Po, the Goddess of Oblivion, erasing memories from the living in the underworld. When Claudia begins secretly tampering with the memories of her friends and family, she discovers that mortals who meddle with the sacred face severe consequences.
