Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance


As theatre majors at Chapman, students participate in a strong professional theatre curriculum with high quality productions while enjoying the benefits of a small university. While earning their B.A. in theatre ​BFA in Screen Acting or BFA in Theatre Performance, students gain real-world experience from working onstage and backstage and with professional organizations such as Shakespeare Orange County.

Acceptance Rate:

Chapman University's Department of Theatre, particularly the BFA in Screen Acting, has a highly competitive acceptance rate, with some programs like musical theatre having acceptance rates as low as 1%.
