The looming question in everyone's mind at that time was, “what will happen to these kids when they grow up?” We find out in AUTISM: THE SEQUEL as the original subjects, now in their early 20s, navigate what independence means to them and the challenges and triumphs for adults on the autism spectrum.

International Human Rights Art Festival presents the premiere of Sora Baek's profound portrait of North Korean defectors - SELL ME: I Am From North Korea - directed by Amanda Kate Joshi. SELL ME: I Am From North Korea is inspired by the true stories of North Korean defectors who risk everything to escape one of Earth's most repressive regimes.

Two Indigenous filmmakers, Kyle Bell (Creek-Thlopthlocco Tribal Town) and Peshawn Bread (Comanche) have been chosen to participate in the 2019 Sundance Institute Native Filmmakers Lab, continuing the Institute's commitment to supporting Native American and Indigenous storytellers since its founding. The School of Fashion at Academy of Art University will host its annual Graduation Fashion Show and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 26, 2018. The invitation-only event begins with select graduating students from the M.F.A. and B.F.A. programs presenting their work to industry professionals. The programs include: fashion design, textile design, knitwear design, 3D design and pattern making, costume design, journalism, styling, product development, visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, and fashion marketing. The fashion show portion of the event will include womenswear, menswear and childswear collections; several of the collections were created through collaboration by students within the fashion, knitwear and textile design programs.
