The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis' Imaginary Theatre Company presents the world premiere of My Friend The Dragon, with book by Lize Lewy and music by Bryn McLaughlin. Inspired by Kenneth Grahame's The Reluctant Dragon, the musical follows Sam, a young booklover whose curiosity and compassion lead him to befriend a misunderstood, fire-breathing dragon. Together with the knight St. George, they show their village that everyone deserves kindness, courage, and a chance to tell their own story. The production marks ITC's return to commissioning new work for the first time since 2019.
