The Fool's Guide ...to living and dying... at The Drama Factory

The Fool's Guide ...to living and dying... is a 65-minute solo performance written and performed by Andrew Buckland, running at The Drama Factory from 12 to 17 May 2026. The show is a physical comedy that navigates the world of contemporary technology, social media, and AI through the story of Milton and his son Billy Yonaire, who faces the machinations of TechBro Overlords and predatory PodBros. Rooted in the traditions of the Clown and the Fool, the work blends raucous comedy with poignant storytelling to examine the human condition. Buckland, a three-time Edinburgh Festival Fringe First Award winner with nearly five decades of theatre-making, premiered the piece at the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees in March 2026.
