Based on the 1980s film, FAME - THE MUSICAL is a vibrant, exciting, dynamic and soul-searching show that has entertained millions of people worldwide. Through song and dance, FAME - THE MUSICAL follows four years in the lives of the fame-obsessed Carmen, the ambitious actress Serena, the quiet violinist Schlomo, the talented but illiterate dancer Tyrone, the determined actor Nick, the overweight dancer Mabel, the wisecracking comedian and bad boy Joe, and the financially strapped dancer Iris. The audience shares the ambitions, successes, challenges and failures of this class of highly talented and versatile students, who experience life's hurdles in their journey to becoming stars, learning that they cannot just perform their way through life.
