Saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins is one of the foremost voices in a new generation of contemporary jazz interpreters. Since bursting onto the international scene with his acclaimed 2020 debut album Omega on Blue Note Records, Wilkins has become a powerful force in jazz. His follow-up albums—The 7th Hand and 2024’s Blues Blood—have cemented his reputation, earning widespread critical acclaim and numerous awards, including honours from The New York Times, NPR, DownBeat Critics Poll, and the German Deutscher Jazzpreis.
