The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey has released photos of its current production — It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, running at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre on the campus of Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.
A play from the writer of The Odd Couple and Barefoot in the Park is coming to Stirling Theatre. Neil Simon’s Rose and Walsh, directed by Carryn McLean, is the story of two ageing lovers who were once literary giants. The production runs from November 25th through December 10th. Early in my acting career, I was represented by an agency that got me an audition for a recurring role in the series Breaking Bad. It clearly would have been the biggest break of my acting career. I had a short side of two pages to learn for the audition. Usually, I have a pretty photographic memory for lines, and I work hard to be sure I know them cold. But for this audition due to nervousness I could never get the lines solid, and sadly what the producers saw was not a potential character in their show, but an actor clearly struggling to remember the next word he was supposed to say. My biggest opportunity and worst audition all rolled into one disappointing 10-minute take.

In a co-production with Baltimore Center Stage, PTC introduces local audiences to the talents of rising star Christina Anderson and her stunning new play How To Catch Creation, Philadelphia Theatre Company's pick from the 2017 Kilroys List. The "List" was created to give theatre producers a choice of underproduced works by women, with a recent focus on trans, and non-binary writers. Producing Artistic Director Paige Price has tapped Nataki Garrett, former Associate Artistic Director of Denver Center for the Performing Arts Theater Company (DCPA), to direct this production. How To Catch Creation features a cast of local talent and actors with an impressive range of Netflix, television, and regional theatre credits.
