Huntington Theatre Company presents the Boston premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Sweat. This Tony Award-nominated play by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage is directed by Kimberly Senior (Disgraced on Broadway). Sweat began performances at the Huntington Avenue Theatre (264 Huntington Avenue, Boston) on Friday, January 31, 2020 and runs through Sunday, February 23, 2020. The official press opening night was Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Tickets are now available.

Theatre Royal Bath Productions has released new production imagery for its hit comedy production of Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage which returns in a new UK tour following an acclaimed run as part of its Summer Season 2018. Directed by Lindsay Posner (A View from the Bridge, Carousel), the production stars Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey, Ragtime) who reprises her dazzling performance as Veronica alongside Nigel Lindsay (Victoria, Four Lions) as bluff husband Michael with new cast members Samantha Spiro (Grandma's House, Lady Windermere's Fan) as Annette and Simon Paisley Day (Ralegh: The Treason Trial, The Crown) as her husband, Alan.

The Old Globe today announced that the West Coast premiere of Laurel Ollstein's They Promised Her the Moon has been extended by popular demand and will run through May 12, 2019. The first of two shows in the 2018-2019 Season developed in the Globe's Powers New Voices Festival, it wowed Festival audiences with the story of the powerful forces that kept one woman from reaching orbit. Directed by Giovanna Sardelli (the Globe's The Whipping Man and Somewhere), They Promised Her the Moon runs April 6 - May 12, 2019 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run April 6-10.

Parson's Nose Theater (PNT), the acclaimed, Los Angeles' professional, classical comedy theater company, kicks off their 2018-19 season this weekend with "Mark Twain and Friends: A River Journey. Production images are today released for the 50th anniversary production of Arthur Miller's riveting drama The Price at Theatre Royal Bath's Main House where it runs until Saturday 25 August, with opening night for press on Wednesday 15 August. Jonathan Church, Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Bath's Summer Season, directs the production starring one of Britain's most celebrated actors, David Suchet, as furniture dealer Gregory Solomon with Olivier Award winning actor Brendan Coyle playing Victor Franz, and television stars Adrian Lukisas Walter Franz and Sara Stewart as Victor's wife, Esther Franz.
