On September 11th, 2008 the smash hit Broadway production of Grease welcomed 'American Idol' Season Five finalist, Ace Young, in his Broadway debut as 'Kenickie' at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. To celebrate, the cast and crew went to Planet Hollywood in Times Square where he presented the famous restaurant with his T-Bird leather jacket for their Broadway Memorabilia Museum.

'American Idol' Season Five winner, Taylor Hicks, made his Broadway debut when he joined the cast of Grease in the role of 'Teen Angel' on Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. On Sunday, September 7th, 2008 Hicks took his final bow after a successful three month run met with rave reviews.

Max Crumm and Laura Osnes played their last performance as Danny and Sandy in Grease on Sunday, July 20th 2008. The gang at Rydell High will get a new 'class couple' on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 when Derek Keeling and Ashley Spencer join the cast in the lead roles of 'Danny' and 'Sandy.'

Max Crumm and Laura Osnes, stars of the new Broadway revival of Grease, rehearsed a few numbers in Chelsea Studios with the rest of their spirited cast on Thursday, November 29 to brush-up on their routines. The cast returns to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre 19-days after their musical was halted by the stagehands' strike.

The cast of 'Grease' celebrated the release of their New Broadway Cast recording Monday, October 8 at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square.

Amber Stone was chosen as the Gypsy Robe Winner for Grease, which opened on Sunday, August 19th at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) after beginning previews on July 24th.
