Photo Coverage: 'Grease' CD Release

Celebrating the release of the New Broadway Cast Recording of America's favorite musical Grease from Masterworks Broadway, Max Crumm (Danny) and Laura Osnes (Sandy), winners of the hit nationally televised talent competition "Grease: You're The One That I Want," along with other featured Broadway cast appeared on Monday, October 8 at 6:30 PM at Virgin Megastore in Times Square (1540 Broadway).
The cast performed 4 songs from the smash hit musical
followed by a CD signing. Following the performance, Max Crumm was surprised with a cake to celebrate his birthday. Afterward, the cast greeted fans and autographed the new CDs. This new Broadway Cast Recording from Masterworks Broadway
is produced by David Lai. The CD was
recorded at New York's
Legacy Studios on August 16 and released nationwide on October 2, 2007.
The new production of Grease is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall. Its Broadway Opening Night was August 19, 2007 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street), where it continues to play to sold-out audiences.
