San Francisco’s 42nd Street Moon (Daniel Thomas, Executive Artistic Director and Daren A.C. Carollo, Producing Artistic Director) is pleased to announce the full cast and creative team for the Company’s long-awaited production of the Tony Award-winning “Best Musical” THE PAJAMA GAME, with sisters Becky Potter (Director) and Annie Potter (Playwright) teaming up with Armando Fox (Music Director) and Renee DeWeese (Choreographer) to bring audiences a contemporary take on a comedy classic, celebrating the best of Broadway’s Golden Age, reimagined for a Gateway Theatre stage.

The limited Off-Broadway engagement for the Shaw's timely classic comedy Heartbreak House will open Sunday September 9th.at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues) and continue through September 29th only. Check out photos of the ensemble in action below!

The New Group presents the world premiere of Seth Zvi Rosenfeld's Downtown Race Riot, launching the company's 2017-2018 Season. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production features Cristian DeMeo, David Levi, Moise Morancy, Josh Pais, Sadie Scott, Chlo Sevigny and Daniel Sovich. Directed by Cynthia Nixon, this production features Ashlie Atkinson and Francisco Pryor Garat, and as announced, Mario Cantone, Jerry Dixon,Malcolm Gets and Matt McGrath. Contemporary Theatre of Dallas will make its New York debut in July 2014 with LONE STAR and LAUNDRY & BOURBON. The two one-acts by the widely-produced late playwright James McLure give a flavorful slice of life in rural Texas. Now in its 13th season, the celebrated regional theater company has been named 'Best Theatre Company' by the Dallas Observer. Their productions are regularly selected in the 'Top 10 Shows of the Year' from the Dallas Voice. LONE STAR and LAUNDRY & BOURBON, directed by Cynthia Hestand, will be performed at The Clurman Theatre (410 West 42nd Street) from July 5 to July 26. Scroll down for a sneak peek at both shows!

The curtain will rise for preview performances for the new Billie Holiday musical Lady Day starring Tony and multiple Grammy Award-winner Dee Dee Bridgewater on Thursday, September 19th (7PM) at the Little Shubert Theatre (422 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues). Written and directed by Stephen Stahl, the musical will make its New York debut having been produced at the Theatre de Boulogne-Billancourt and Theatre du Gymnase Marie Bell in Paris as well as The Donmar Warehouse and The Piccadilly Theatre in London, where it received critical praise and garnered an Olivier "Best Actress in a Musical" Award nomination for Ms. Bridgewater. The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) has announced that author and co-director of the Acquavella Gallery Michael Findlay, composer Elliot Goldenthal, filmmaker Mira Nair and visual artist Fred Wilson were inducted into the NYFA Hall of Fame on Tuesday, April 23rd at Espace (635 West 42nd Street). MARY POPPINS celebrates its sixth anniversary today, November 16, 2012. It began previews at the New Amsterdam Theatre (214 West 42nd Street) on October 14, 2006 before officially opening on November 16, 2006.

Signature Theatre presents THE PIANO LESSON by August Wilson and directed by Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson. The production, which has already announced a 1-week extension, runs through December 16 and opens November 18 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Broadway star Robert Cuccioli, best known for his Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle winning and Tony-nominated performance as the star of Jekyll and Hyde, will take on the role in his long-anticipated return to Broadway. Cuccioli will play his first performance on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street). Roundabout Theatre Company will featureTony Award winner RoseMary Harris as 'Miss Helen,' Carla Gugino as 'Elsa Barlow' and Tony Award winner Jim Dale as 'Marius Byleveld' in the Broadway premiere production of Athol Fugard's play The Road To Mecca, directed by Gordon Edelstein. The Road to Mecca will begin previews on December 16 and open officially on January 17, 2012 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). On Wednesday, November 10, The 2010 Princess Grace Awards were held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. The Awards ceremony included the presentation of 21 awards to emerging artists in theater, dance and film as well as the Prince Rainier III Award, presented to Denzel and Pauletta Washington, and the Princess Grace Statue Award to be presented to Anna D. Shapiro. The Award recipients hail from cities and states across America and traveled to New York City to receive their honor at the glamorous black tie ceremony. The 28th Annual Princess Grace Awards Gala took place in the presence of Her Royal Highness Caroline Princess of Hanover. The evening was co-chaired by Bonnie Pfeifer Evans. The return of 'PERFECT HARMONY,' a hit of the 2006 New York International Fringe Festival and a 2008 sold-out summer run on Theatre Row is now back on track after a dispute between the theatre manager at 45 Bleecker Theatres (the show's recent home) and the space's landlord resulted in a closing of that complex on October 13. Theatre Row General Manager Erika Feldman came to the show's rescue and offered the production a new home - The Acorn Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street (between 9th and 10th Avenues) in the Theatre Row complex. 'PERFECT HARMONY' is conceived and directed by Andrew Grosso, and written by Grosso and The Essentials. Performances resume at The Acorn on Thursday, October 21 and the official opening performance is set for Wednesday, October 27 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets for the Off Broadway run are available through Telecharge at 212-239-6200 or www.telecharge.com, and on sale through November 13, 2010. (The producers are planning to move the show to another space following this run at The Acorn.)

The Clockwork Theatre, a New York City-based non-profit organization is proud to announce the first production of their 5th anniversary season, UNDERGROUND, written by JAMES McMANUS (winner of the 2006 Princess Grace Playwriting Award).

Casting has been announced for the all-new production of the Lincoln Center Theater prize-winning musical classic Rodgers and Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC premiering at the Golden Gate Theatre beginning Friday, September 18 through Sunday, October 25, 2009.

World Premiere of INKED BABY, a new play by 2007 Susan Smith Blackburn nominee Christina Anderson in her Off-Broadway playwriting debut. INKED BABY began previews on Thursday, March 5 at 7:30 PM at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). Directed by Kate Whoriskey (Fabulation at Playwrights Horizons, the current hit Ruined), INKED BABY will have its official opening on Monday, March 23 at 7:00 PM and continue through Sunday, April 5.

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) continues its 2008/2009 Season with the New York premiere of THE SAVANNAH DISPUTATION, a new play by Evan Smith (Psych and The Uneasy Chair at Playwrights Horizons, Remedial English for the Young Playwrights Festival at Playwrights Horizons, Servicemen at The New Group). This will be Mr. Smith's fourth collaboration with the theater company. Directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie (Chicago, New Jerusalem), in his Playwrights Horizons debut, the production will began previews on Friday, February 6, 2009 with an Opening Night set for Tuesday, March 3 at 7PM. The limited engagement will run through Sunday, March 15 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

On October 9th, 2008 Olivier-nominee Scarlett Strallen and ADAM FIORENTINO (in their Broadway debuts as Mary Poppins and Bert, respectively), were welcomed to the company of the award-winning musical Mary Poppins at the New Amsterdam Theatre (214 West 42nd Street). After their debuts the two celebrated at Sardi's Restaurant in New York City.

The 'Rockers on Broadway' concert returned this year with the latest edition - 'Rockers on Broadway Salutes Motown' at BB King Blues Club & Grill (237 West 42nd Street) on Monday, October 22 at 8PM.
