Due to demand for tickets on the weekend, SHREK THE MUSICAL begins a new performance schedule this week with added performances on Sunday evenings. SHREK THE MUSICAL opened at the Broadway Theatre on Sunday, December 14. The original cast album will be released by Decca Broadway on March 24th.

The Wednesday, March 11th evening performance of SHREK THE MUSICAL marked the 100th performance of the new show on Broadway. Tonight, the cast will celebrate the milestone on stage at the Broadway Theatre. SHREK THE MUSICAL opened on Sunday, December 14, 2008.

Brian d?Arcy James and Sutton Foster will first perform ?I?ve Got You Beat? and then join the company (also featuring Daniel Breaker and John Tartaglia) in performing ?Freak Flag.? ?The View? airs nationally on ABC (channel 7, WABC in the tri-state area).
