Hit Marvel animated series 'Ultimate Spider-Man' thwips into season two with a special one-hour primetime premiere on MONDAY, JANUARY 21 (7:00 - 8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD, it was announced today by David Levine, Vice President and General Manager, Disney XD Worldwide and Jeph Loeb, Executive Vice President, Marvel Television. The thrilling two part premiere introduces fans to two of Spider-Man's most iconic villains - the Lizard (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker of Disney's 'Phineas and Ferb') and Electro. As Spidey and his team - Nova, White Tiger, Iron Fist and Power Man - battle these menacing super villains, a sinister force is secretly assembling to try and spell their defeat. New episodes of Marvel's 'Ultimate Spider-Man' will premiere Sundays at 11:00 a.m., ET/PT on Marvel Universe on Disney XD.

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark is now in its 2nd smash year on Broadway, and has been seen by more than 1 million audience members from around the world. It features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy Award-winners Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz), and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger(Underneath The Lintel) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Fantastic Four and Spider-Man comics, 'Big Love'). Just yesterday, Reeve Carney and the ensemble Spider-Men signed copies of their 2013-2014 Calendar in the lobby of the Foxwoods Theatre. Net proceeds from the calendar will go to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. Check out photos from the event below!

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jamie Foxx confirmed rumors that he will star in the role of 'Electro' in the upcoming sequel to this year's blockbuster THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. 'Electro is a great character,' Foxx told ET's Nancy O'Dell.

Jake Epstein, best known as the star of the hugely popular teen series "Degrassi: The Next Generation," will make his Broadway debut as the Peter Parker / Spider-Man Alternate in Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark. Epstein will play Saturday and Sunday matinee performances beginning on December 8, 2012 at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, the record-breaking Broadway spectacular, held a Halloween safety press conference earlier today at the Foxwoods Theatre. Hosted by Spider-Man (Reeve Carney) and the Green Goblin (Robert Cuccioli), also in attendance were members of the "Sinister Six" and two members of New York's Finest. Spider-Man outlined the NYPD's official Halloween Safety Recommendations to remind parents and guardians of trick-or-treaters ways to help ensure a safe Halloween experience. According to the New York Times, playwritght Glen Berger, who recently worked alongside Julie Taymor, Bono and the Edge on Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, will write a book on the whole saga, titled "Song of Spider-Man: The Inside Story of the Most Controversial Musical in Broadway History."

Broadway star Robert Cuccioli, best known for his Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle winning and Tony-nominated performance as the star of Jekyll and Hyde, is starring in another dual role in his long-anticipated return to Broadway: Norman Osborn / The Green Goblin in Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark. CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. Just last month, Olympian Danell Leyva visited Broadway's SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, where he met with leading man Reeve Carney and the 9 Spider-Men from the show. Now according to the New York Post, he is in talks to join the production. An insider told NYP that 'the producers are excited about the idea of Danell joining the show.'
