The producers of the smash hit Broadway musical have announced that Joe Tippett will step into the role of Earl in Waitress on June 13, opposite Betsy Wolfe as Jenna. Will Swenson will play his final performance as Earl on June 11, 2017.

The producers of the smash hit Broadway musical have announced that Drew Gehling will reprise the role he originated when he returns to the cast of Waitress on June 27, 2017 as Dr. Pomatter, opposite Betsy Wolfe as Jenna Hunterson. Chris Diamantopoulos will play his final performance as Dr. Pomatter on June 25.

On this morning's GOOD MORNING AMERICA @SaraBareilles and the @WaitressMusical crowd surprised the GMA team and crowd with a pop-up performance of the upbeat number 'Opening Up.' 

The smash hit Broadway musical, Waitress is the latest Broadway show to create a craft beer for charity and partner with The Broadway Brews Project. A portion of the proceeds benefits The Adrienne Shelly Foundation, a NY-based charity that supports women in film.

Fans of Waitress the musical can now bake the delicious pies that the show's leading character Jenna Hunterson makes for Joe's Diner with the publication of Sugar, Butter, Flour: The Waitress Pie Cookbook, Recipes from the Files of Jenna Hunterson (Pam Krauss Books, a division of Penguin Random House).

Incoming WAITRESS star, Betsy Wolfe, is getting ready to step into Jenna's shoes on the set of her photoshoot. Betsy discusses what she thinks of her character Jenna, and why she's excited to join the cast of Waitress. Betsy replaces Sara Bareilles, the show's composer, lyricist, and current Jenna, on June 13. Check out the video below!

Earlier today, the smash musical Waitress celebrates its first anniversary on Broadway with a gravity-defying four-tiered topsy-turvy celebration of all things pie! Oh what baking can do. Sugar, butter, flour, and an apron added up to a huge donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids at WAITRESS recently. Following curtain call, the company held a live auction of a signed apron used in the show by star Sara Bareilles.

Waitress continues on a winning streak at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre, once again breaking the weekly gross sales record by bringing in $1,381,419.90 for the 8-performance week ending on Easter Sunday (April 16, 2017). The previous record, $1,331,954.30, was set with the nine (9) performance week ending January 1, 2017.
