Dirty Dancing on Stage Videos - West End

While enjoying the colorful and enchanting displays at the 2015 Boston Flower and Garden Show yesterday, patrons were treated to a surprise "Dirty Dancing" Flash Mob, featuring 20 local dancers among the vendors and exhibitions. The flash mob included iconic 80's hit songs 'Do You Love Me?' and '(I've Had) The Time of My Life" from the worldwide smash-hit film and the upcoming stage production, Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story on stage this April. Just in case Jillian Mueller needs a new dance partner on the DIRTY DANCING: THE MUSICAL tour, I think we've found one. While he's not as tall as Samuel Pergande, he sure has the moves. In a Facebook post, 'Laine Kristina' posted a video of her son Charlie reenacting every move of the iconic routine to '(I've Had) The Time of My Life.'

So does the drama of a soap opera compare to that found on the dance floor? We'll have to ask Kelly Monaco about that one, as she's been a part of both worlds.

Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage, written by Eleanor Bergstein, script writer and creator of the phenomenally successful film, features all the much-loved characters and original dialogue from the iconic film with exciting extra scenes added in. The first ever UK tour opened in Bristol in September 2011, and has since broken box office records across the country, making it one of the most successful tours in UK history. Patrick Swayze made his debut in the West End revival of Guys and Dolls as marriage-dodging gambler Nathan Detroit. Swayze made his Broadway debut as Danny in Grease, has also appeared on Broadway in Goodtime Charley and Chicago (as well as in that show's tour).
