Screen Actors Guild Foundation and Broadway World have partnered for an filmed Conversations Q&A series to recognize and celebrate the vibrant theatre community in New York City and the union actors who aspire to have a career on the stage and screen. The most recent conversation featured stage and screen titans Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, moderated by Broadway World's Richard Ridge. Check out Part 1 of the conversation below!

It's not every day you can get a free hot chocolate from a knight, but this Super Bowl Sunday, Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, Billy Crudup and Shuler Hensley will hand out free hot chocolate to ticket holders before the matinee of Waiting for Godot at the Cort Theatre on Sunday, February 2. To get the Super Bowl Sunday started early, the matinee will begin at 2pm, and to offer relief from the predicted cold temperatures, the four stars will be serving hot chocolate from 12:45pm to 1:15pm sharp. Sports fans will still have plenty of time to see the Super Bowl after the matinee.

Sir Ian McKellen, star of Broadway's No Man's Land & Waiting for Godot, co-published a letter to Vladimir Putin on the rights of Russia's gay citizens.

The Broadway repertory season of Harold Pinter¹s NO MAN¹S LAND and Samuel Beckett¹s WAITING FOR GODOT opens this Sunday, November 24. The shows are led by Patrick Stewart, Billy Crudup, Shuler Hensley and Ian McKellen, who recently revealed that this will likely be his last hurrah on Broadway.
