Martin Charnin

Martin Charnin is perhaps best known for conceiving, directing, and writing the lyrics for the hit Broadway musical Annie.
Charnin began his career as an actor, playing the role of "Big Deal" in the original production of West Side Story, both on Broadway and on tour.
He then began writing music and lyrics for Off-Broadway and cabaret revues, as well as nightclub performances for the likes of Dionne Warwick, Nancy Wilson, Leslie Uggams, and more.
His first time writing lyrics for a Broadway musical was Hot Spot in 1963, which starred Judy Holliday.

James L. Nederlander is President of the Nederlander Organization and son of James M. Nederlander (Chairman). He is the third generation of a family known for owning and operating theatres around the world as well as theatrical productions, cultural presentations and popular music attractions. Current productions include West Side Story, The Addams Family, Next to Normal and Race. Upcoming productions include a live show with magician David Blaine.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Gold Card Manager Arthur Rubin. Arthur came into membership in February of 1962.
Arthur Rubin, 97, died peacefully surrounded by his loving children: Ronnie and Anne, Alan and Jane. He had a long and distinguished career in the entertainment industry, both as a singer-actor on Broadway & in films and in theater management. He adored and loved his grandchildren Jonathan (Kristen), Erica (Mike) and Daniel (Gabby) and his great grandchildren Ezra, Miles and Sabine.
