The Library of Congress National Audio-Visual Conservation Center is announcing the full lineup of rare cinema and special guests to be featured at the inaugural Library of Congress Festival of Film and Sound. The new four-day film festival will be held June 15-18 in association with the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center at the American Film Institute's beautifully restored 1938 art deco theater in Silver Spring, Maryland.

The Murder Mystery returned to the historic Wilburton Inn this spring after a pandemic gap. The Wilburton Inn, originally built in 1902 as a single-family residence, has been a famous Vermont resort since 1945.

The track features arrangements by trombone player Steve Davis, and follows the first single and video, “Come On, Aphrodite”—featuring Abena Koomson-Davis—from Merchant’s forthcoming album Keep Your Courage. Produced by Merchant, Keep Your Courage is the artist’s ninth solo studio album, and the latest new material since 2014’s self-titled record.

The Museum of Sex (MoSex) has announced details about its summer exhibition, 'Erotic Content & the Mainstream 1960 till Today.' This exhibition, a presentation of media examining how erotic content has permeated mainstream culture since the 1960s, will be on view at the Museum of Sex (233 Fifth Avenue) starting June 4, 2021.

Shannon McNally, the voice and brains behind THE WAYLON SESSIONS, a record of classic Waylon Jennings songs, has released another track from the forthcoming album, 'Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys.' McNally debuted the track via Austin American Statesman, of which Peter Blackstock wrote about her delivery and the song's history:
