The Finnish National Opera and Ballet has announced its 2025–2026 season which features new contemporary operas, romantic ballet gems, and pulsating street dance The Opera and Ballet season 2025–2026 is a celebration of emotions. We move from one extreme to another, from dark tones towards light and vice versa.

'La Boutique Fantasque '' or 'The Enchanted Toyshop' was originally a ballet choreographed by Leonide Massine in 1919 for the Ballet Russes. In a completely re-imagined production choreographed by Dalia Rawson, New Ballet's dancers will introduce you to a toyshop in Paris where dolls are brought to life.

Auditions for the musical revue Some Enchanted Evening will be held virtually with an audition video submission deadline of 6:00 PM, Monday, Feb. 15, 2021. All auditions are open to the public; no one is pre-cast. Callbacks will be in person at the theatre by appointment only, Feb. 16-17, 2021.

The Des Moines Community Playhouse's latest Teen Theatre Workshop, Auditions: Song Selection with Katy Merriman, will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, 1:00-4:00 PM. Now in its 100th season of bringing excellence in entertainment and education to Central Iowa, the Des Moines Community Playhouse today announced its new artistic team. Katy Merriman has been named artistic director while John Viars will continue through the end of the year as artistic director emeritus.

New York City Ballet will open its 2019-20 Season at Lincoln Center on Tuesday, September 17 with George Balanchine's full-length Jewels. The season will continue with 21 weeks of performances, through Sunday, May 31, and will feature 54 ballets and choreography by 12 different choreographers.

Hot off of Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical Bandstand, Laura Osnes brings her solo show to The 1919 Lounge for one night only. In this intimate evening, Laura will be sharing songs and stories from throughout her colorful career.
