ArtsFairfax, the nonprofit designated as Fairfax County's local arts agency, has revealed the 2026 ArtsFairfax Awards recipients, elebrated as the annual event to recognize visionary contributions to the arts countywide.

The LA Phil has revealed the 2026 Hollywood Bowl summer season with performances at the world-renowned amphitheater in the Hollywood Hills from June to September 2026.

AMC Studios announced today that it has entered into separate exclusive, multi-year overall deals with Rolin Jones (Friday Night Lights, Weeds), Gina Mingacci (Killing Eve, Orphan Black) and Ray McKinnon (Rectify, Deadwood) to develop and produce new series for AMC Networks' Entertainment Group as well as other content companies. The deals expand AMC Networks' ongoing or previous creative partnerships with Jones, Mingacci and McKinnon.

Outfest Fusion 2020: Culture. Film. Music. Jim Hirsch, one of Chicago's best known and most beloved advocates for the Chicago music scene, recognized for growing the careers of artists young and old, expanding audiences and creating diverse programming, will step down from the Chicago Sinfonietta after 15 years of service as Executive Director and CEO effective July 1, 2020. Hirsch's career, spanning four decades, also includes serving as Executive Director at the Old Town School of Folk Music for 18 years, and General Manager of the iconic Chicago Theatre for four years.

Since 2004, director Mallory Catlett has worked across disciplines to expand the boundaries of theater. Through original works with her own company, Restless NYC, and collaborations with some of today's leading artists-composer Mika Karlsson (The Echo Drift), Dread Scott (Decision), Aaron Landsman (City Council Meeting & Perfect City)-Catlett creates theater that The New York Times calls "lurid, feverish and powerful." She has been called a "downtown treasure" by Time Out New York.

On Saturday, March 10, technology will meet tradition as cutting-edge live electronica and digital technologies combine with the traditional sounds of Punjab when Flushing Town Hall presents PunjabTronix.

As its first production of the new year, Gulfshore Playhouse presents Arthur Miller's The Price. Starring Jeffrey Binder (Broadway's Lion King and Mary Poppins ), David Whalen (star of motion pictures Fault in our Stars and American Pastoral ), Stuart Zagnit (Broadway's Newsies, Wicked, and Seussical ), and Marilee Talkington (off-Broadway's Truce) and directed by Kristen Coury, Gulfshore Playhouse's founder and producing artistic director, The Price will run from Saturday, Jan. 13 through Sunday, Feb. 4.

Day for Night is proud to announce the program for the first edition of the Day for Night Summit, which will take place on Friday, December 15. The Summit will feature art and technology pioneers Laurie Anderson, Chelsea Manning, Nadya Tolokonnikova (Pussy Riot), and Lauren McCarthy and serve as the first opportunity to experience 18 site-specific art installations from artists Ryoji Ikeda and Matthew Schreiber in a more intimate setting before the festival weekend officially kicks off.
