Simon Wiesenthal escaped death at the hands of Hitler's S.S., lost 89 family members, and devoted more than six decades to bringing Nazi war criminals to justice. Part memoir and part spy thriller, Dugan's play introduces us to Wiesenthal on the day before his retirement as he welcomes his final group of Americans to his office in The Jewish Documentation Center in Vienna.

WIESENTHAL to Honor Family of Anne Frank with 'Special Sundays' this Month

Wiesenthal, the new play about the legendary Simon Wiesenthal, will offer two special family matinees on December 7 and 14 at 3PM. These performances will be followed by discussion, 'The Anne Frank Connection,' about Anne Frank and the legacy of humanity and hope that she continues to inspire when teaching the history of the Holocaust to young people around the world. Tom Dugan, the playwright and actor who stars as Simon Wiesenthal will be joined by NYU Professor and Anne Frank Center Advisory Board member, Rolf Wolfswinkel for the discussion.

Immediately following the matinee, special guest Tovah Feldshuh (Golda's Balcony, Irena's Vow) joined Wiesenthal's playwright and star, Tom Dugan, in a conversation and candle lighting ceremony with audience members reflecting on the historic 'Night of Broken Glass."
