The 29th annual Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival (Inside Out), championing innovative LGBTQ filmmakers from across the globe, revealed its full feature and short film lineup. The announcement was made today by Inside Out's Executive Director Andria Wilson and the festival's Director of Programming Andrew Murphy. Inside Out, which launched the first ever annual LGBTQ Film Finance Forum, has established itself as an international home and incubator for LGBTQ emerging and established filmmakers. This year's festival will take place May 23 to June 2, 2019.

Broadway Veteran, Estonians, and an Irishman, team up to bring the legendary story of the Singing Revolution to the New York theatre community. The production is initiated by an American director/choreographer, Tony Spinosa, and Irish co-book writer, James Bearhart. The story is inspired by the Estonian emancipation from the Soviet Union in 1991

Hailed as a dream team of performers, longtime musical collaborators and friends, violinist Joshua Bell, cellist Steven Isserlis and pianist Jeremy Denk, will unite this spring 2019 for their first-ever trio tour stoping at The Soraya on May 8. The three artists will perform hallmarks of the trio repertoire in acclaimed venues across the East and West coasts. Though Bell, Isserlis and Denk have previously released the landmark 2016 recording For the Love of Brahms together on Sony Classical, these performances mark the first occasions in which they will tour live as an ensemble. Isango Ensemble bring their unique storytelling skills to show us the life of a Somali boy, alone and running away to a place that barely differs from the hell he leaves behind.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast for the world premiere of Kiss My Aztec! John Leguizamo teams up with Artistic Director Tony Taccone for this musical comedy, following their collaboration on the hit one-man show Latin History for Morons, which received its world premiere at Berkeley Rep before heading to Broadway. Leguizamo will serve as co-writer and co-lyricist only for Kiss My Aztec! - 11 other talented actors will perform in this production. Taccone will also direct.

The most celebrated gamelan ensemble outside of Bali returns with a breathtaking mix of traditional and contemporary Balinese music and dance. Under the direction of internationally renowned gamelan composer and performer I Nyoman Windha and dance master I Nyoman Cerita, the 40-member Bay Area company honors its 40th Anniversary in an evening featuring two distinct music ensembles. Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

The play will be shown from March 21, 2019 until March 24, 2019. 

The music of Leonard Bernstein, who composed the music for West Side Story, has graced concert halls and theaters, radios and televisions in homes all across America. This year, the centennial of his birth, the world remembers the life and legacy of the great American composer, conductor, pianist, and educator.

Midtown Arts Center, formerly Carousel Dinner Theatre, has been serving Broadway-style entertainment to Northern Colorado since 1991. In 2010, the business moved from its original location growing its space from 7,500 sq ft to its current 22,000 sq ft facility at 3750 Mason Street, Fort Collins, Colorado. In January of 2018 the facility that houses Midtown Arts Center was sold to Housing Catalyst of Fort Collins with plans for a multi-million dollar renovation to provide permanent/supportive low-income housing to the Fort Collins area. The search began to find a new facility that included possibilities such as renovating existing "big-box" spaces and a full ground-start new build.

To celebrate the October 26th, 2018, release of their brand-new Di-Tone Records project Phenomenal Woman: The Maya Angelou Songs, the critically acclaimed duo of vocalist Capathia Jenkins and award-winning composer, arranger and musician Louis Rosen will perform for three nights, Thursday through Saturday, October 25, 26, and 27, 2018, at the iconic jazz venue Birdland's new Birdland Theatre in New York City. New Line Theatre's artistic director Scott Miller has published another collection of essays, LITERALLY ANYTHING GOES: 14 ODDBALL MUSICALS AND WHAT MAKES THEM TICK. Miller's fifth book of deep-dive musical theatre exploration is a surprising and entertaining journey into more than a dozen quirky but fascinating musicals, some famous, some less so.
